摘要

The object of this study is to develop a tool to analyze the VIV (vortex-induced vibration) of a slender marine structure. This study aims to develop a numerical analysis model for estimating VIV phenomena using a 3D structural analysis program for a multi-degree-of-freedom of slender marine structures. The proposed numerical simulation model evaluates the reduced velocity at a certain flow speed and calculates the inline external force component after determining the unstable zone. The model analyzes the VIV properties of a tensioned beam by applying the external forces in both the inline and cross-flow directions based on the relative velocity.
By evaluating the displacement trajectories that correspond to the nodes, we analyze the phase difference between the inline and cross-flow directions.
